Leonard “Len” Bailes started his real estate career more than 40 years ago. Len established Bailes & Associates, Inc. in 1981, as a boutique tenant representation firm. He has devoted his career to building a reputation as a knowledgeable, strong negotiator and has been instrumental in consummating over $500,000,000 in real estate transactions across the country.

Prior to founding Bailes & Associates, Len was a co-branch manager and top producer at Studley in Los Angeles for 10 years. Studley was the first commercial real estate services firm to pioneer the conflict-free business model of representing only tenants in their commercial real estate transactions.

Len has always led Bailes & Associates on its path as an independent tenant representative for commercial real estate and for 32 years has stayed true to his vision.

Mark joined Bailes & Associates, Inc. in 2003 with a specific focus on tenant and buyer representation of corporate and entrepreneurial clients both in Southern California and throughout the U.S. Mark manages the firm’s Orange County office located in Irvine, CA. He has over 30 years of commercial and corporate real estate experience including senior leadership positions at Digital Equipment Corporation (now H-P) and within the property & casualty insurance industry (White Mountains Insurance Group-OneBeacon Insurance).

Over his career, Mark has negotiated leases and property purchase/sales exceeding $500M in value and 25M SF throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and the Far East. Mark is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and a member of its Southern California regional alumni board. Mark and his wife have two grown children and reside in Newport Coast, CA

Monique Lacey is a Senior Vice President with Bailes & Associates, Inc. Monique has been with Bailes since 1992; she has worked in the real estate industry for thirty-five years. With a diverse background in commercial real estate Monique understands the business from both a leasing and management viewpoint. She has represented clients such as Alternative Resolution Centers, 1-800-Dentist, Drake Beam Morin, Inc., Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., California Commerce Bank, Worldlink, Allied Universal and a myriad of law and professional firms.

Before joining Bailes & Associates, Monique was a top producer with the Los Angeles office of Knight Frank Faulkner Baillieu (“KFFB”), an international real estate brokerage firm in downtown Los Angeles. Prior to KFFB she was with Los Angeles Realty Services, Inc. in Beverly Hills representing both landlords and tenants. Monique started her real estate career in the property management side of the business. She was with both Cabot, Cabot & Forbes at The International Jewelry Center in Downtown Los Angeles and 330 North Brand in Glendale and then moved to Maguire Thomas Partners at the three million square foot Wells Fargo Center in downtown Los Angeles.

Monique is currently a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of California. She lives in Marina del Rey with her husband and has two wonderful children who are both attending college. Monique enjoys the beach and the mountains and really appreciates quiet time. Monique has chaired several charitable fundraisers and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy causes.

Physician Consultant

Gary A. Pepp joined Bailes & Associates, Inc. in November 2008 to work as a commercial real estate broker specializing in tenant representation for all types of commercial real estate with an emphasis on medical professions’ real estate needs.

Prior to joining Bailes, Gary was President of his own commercial and residential mortgage brokerage company for nearly 25 years.  This was the result of his many years in real estate finance with Xerox Credit Union and as General Manager for such firms as Hughes Helicopter and VA Hospital Credit Unions.

Gary attended Kent State University in Ohio and then graduated from Long Beach State, in Long Beach, CA majoring in business and accounting.  As a licensed real estate professional, Gary is committed to continuing education. Gary lettered for three years in football, wrestling and baseball. He is a Navy veteran serving three tours in Vietnam attached to fighter jet aircraft squadron aboard several aircraft carriers, and he was the recipient of a Navy Achievement Medal for meritorious achievement. Gary is married to a commercial real estate broker for 39 years and the parent of one daughter with three grandchildren. Gary embraces his time with his family. He likes travel, golf and DIY home improvement projects.

Flintie Ray Williams joined Bailes & Associates, Inc. in 2016 after a successful career in the Las Vegas hospitality business. He focuses on representing buyers of investment property. Flintie formerly held senior leadership positions with Wynn Resorts and the Mirage Resorts. A native of Los Angeles,  Flintie attended the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. An outstanding leader he was captain of the UNLV basketball team and drafted by the Detroit Pistons.

Nina Steiner helps professionals quickly find the right office space at the right time at the right price. Nina joined Bailes & Associates in 2015 from KW Commercial, the commercial arm of Keller Williams Residential Brokerage. Nina focuses on representing tenants in their need for leasing commercial office space. Nina has extensive knowledge in the coworking and executive office suite business model. Nina is a workspace specialist in flexible managed space.

As a former line producer and production manager in television production, she was tasked with quickly finding the right space for 1 to 500 cast, staff and crew.  She also produced a popular venture capital conference, “Venture Net” working with startup companies. This annual conference is so successful that Shark Tank’s very own Mark Cuban was a keynote speaker.

Nina enjoys being of service and helping companies of all sizes with their real estate needs.

Nina has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York and received a master’s degree from Hunter College in New York City.  In her free time, she works out at the gym, swims and loves beach walks.  Nina volunteers for Wounded Warrior Project and Music Mends Minds.

Nancy joined Bailes & Associates, Inc. in 1985 as part of the Los Angeles office team.  Several key job tasks she performs include: accounts payables, accounts receivables and payroll for both the Los Angeles and Irvine offices.

Nancy has been in the commercial real estate industry for over 28 years, previously working for Studley where she met the then young and aspiring broker Len Bailes.  Nancy has assisted Len with building Bailes from the ground up and is an integral member of the Bailes team.  Her extensive experience along with her distinct attention to detail, exceptional multi-tasking capabilities and accounting abilities make her the backbone of the Bailes team. In her spare time Nancy enjoys traveling, watching sports, cooking, listening to music and going to the theater.

Rebecca brings her lively personality and natural curiosity for the industry to the office daily. Prior to joining Bailes & Associates, Rebecca worked as an advisor for Cresa Chicago, pursuing the downtown market.

Z joined Bailes & Associates in 2018.  In his role, he represents tenants with their commercial real estate investments and lease projects.     

Prior to joining Bailes & Associates, Z worked in wealth management where he managed investments for clients.  As a senior advisor and vice president, his responsibilities included investment planning, recommending asset allocation strategies, and portfolio analysis.  In his career, he has worked with some of the leading brokerage firms in the country in various roles including managing, business development, and running his independent practice.  

Z obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and his MBA from the Metropolitan State University in MN.  In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and learning history.  He holds a private pilot license.

Rob Rowan joined Bailes & Associates,Inc. in 2014 after being a successful business owner in Irvine for 13 years and in Los Angeles for five years before moving to Orange County. He brings his legendary customer service and communication skills with him.    Rob is an expert in the Irvine Business Center (IBC) Airport and surrounding office market around John Wayne Airport.   He is active in community affairs in Irvine include Irvine Presbyterian Church and the Irvine Boy Scouts. Rob has a son at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.   He is a huge Angels and Clippers fan and loves hiking, backpacking, snorkeling,  kayaking, and traveling the world. Rob is a graduate of Louisiana State University.


Samuel Spencer

Born in Argentina and raised in Washington DC, Sam moved to West Hollywood in 2014 and joined Bailes and Associates in 2018.

Prior to working in commercial real estate, Sam was head of American development at the athletic supplies subscription service JoggBox, where he led the company’s expansion from the UK and France.

Sam’s unique background and education have given him highly-developed communication skills, operational planning excellence, and solid networking and partnership abilities.

He has a degree in Latin American Studies with a minor in Business from University of Texas at Austin, where he also studied abroad in Buenos Aires and Tuscany, Italy. In his free time, he loves to travel, cook, and explore the city of Los Angeles. He volunteers with the Ace of Hearts Animal Rescue of Los Angeles. Sam is fluent in Spanish.

Patrick Loewe



Patrick made the transition to brokerage with Bailes & Associates in 2018 where he focuses on office tenant representation.  His broad range of experience in commercial real estate makes him an asset in almost any situation. 

He moved to Los Angeles in 2016 where he worked for a Fortune 500 commercial real estate firm focused on office leasing as an analyst and continued to sharpen his broader knowledge of office brokerage while learning the intricacies of the Westside.

Coming from the University of Texas at Austin, Patrick graduated with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. Prior to commercial real estate, Patrick spent time as an analyst in both the medical and financial fields.  In these roles he had operations and data management responsibilities. Here he sharpened his analytical and problem solving skills.

Patrick began his commercial real estate career in Austin, Texas initially in multifamily leasing in 2013.  He quickly then utilized his analytical background and began to focus on office and industrial properties there, and began to learn, track, and report on that market.

In his spare time, Patrick enjoys trying new restaurants, spending time at the beach, and hiking.
